Creativity Beyond Limits: The Legacy of Ban-Ban
At Our Lady of Victory (OLV), artistic creativity became a powerful form of empowerment for persons with disabilities. This was especially true for Roldan Ayon during his five-year stay at the center. Despite being diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Roldan discovered his gifts and refused to let his condition hinder his joy or productivity. Through creativity, his self-esteem blossomed and his confidence grew. Today, he inspires others by generously sharing his knowledge and expertise. Fondly called “Ban-Ban,” he stands as a living legacy of OLV—redefining what it means to be wheelchair-bound... embodying creativity without limits.
