On July 25, 2026, three joyful gatherings took place to honor the Diamond Jubilees of four Daughters of Charity—Sr. Arlene DOMINGUIANO, Sr. Maria Teresa VILLARIN, Sr. Alicia Aycocho and Sr. Consuelo Requinto. Each celebration became a testimony to God’s enduring love and the beauty of a vocation faithfully lived.
In Cebu City, the Sisters of Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion, together with lay partners, friends, and benefactors, celebrated Sr. Arlene’s 60 years of service. The Eucharistic Celebration, presided by Rev. Fr. Gerald BORJA, CM, and concelebrated by fellow priests, carried the theme “A Testament of God’s Love and Faithfulness; A Testament of Total Self-Giving for Sixty Years.” With gratitude, Sr. Arlene renewed her commitment to serve with humility, simplicity, and charity, asking for prayers to remain faithful until the end.
Meanwhile, Sr. Maria Teresa’s Jubilee was celebrated under the theme “Glory and Praise.” Her journey began on July 25, 1966, when she first answered God’s call with a wholehearted “Yes.” Sixty years later, the Community of Asilo de Molo, the Communities in Iloilo, lay mission partners, family and friends rejoiced with her in a Eucharistic celebration presided by Rev. Fr. Ino POTRIDO, CM
At the Provincial House, Sr. Alicia and Sr. Consuelo joyfully marked their sixty years of vocation under the theme “Celebrating 60 Years: Embracing Our Mission as Artisans of Peace and Hope with Mary.” The celebration was simple yet heartfelt, joined by Sisters from local communities and the Jubilarians’ loved ones, who gave thanks for God’s enduring faithfulness.
The Jubilee Mass at 6:30 a.m., presided by Fr. Gerry VIBAR, CM, Provincial Director, highlighted the call to remain steadfast in God’s mission. In his homily, he reminded all to live their vocation with joy and hope, echoing the spirit of the Jubilarians’ six decades of service.
Together, these three jubilee celebrations marked by the daily renewal of a wholehearted “Yes,” proclaim that the poor have been loved, Christ has been served, and God’s providence has remained ever faithful. In different places yet united in spirit, Sr. Arlene, Sr. Alicia, Sr. Consuelo, and Sr. Maria Teresa shine as luminous beacons of fidelity and grace. Their lives remind us that vocation is not only a gift but a lifelong hymn of love, service, and praise to the God who calls, sustains, and accompanies His chosen ones.
