25 Years of Service: A Harvest of Hope

We arrived in Brgy. Surabay, Roseller T. Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay, 25 years ago with hearts aflame and hands ready to serve. A small group of sisters, eager to share Christ’s love, we began with simple outreach programs and much prayer. Over time, that small seed blossomed into a garden of hope. We walked with the poor, the sick, and the marginalized; laughed with children, cried with families, and prayed with the elderly. In every step, we have seen God’s hand guiding, providing, and using us to bring joy to those we serve.

As we look back on these 25 years, our hearts overflow with gratitude for the blessings received. True to our call as Daughters of Charity, we continue to serve the most vulnerable. This milestone is made even more joyful as 25 students proudly graduate and receive awards.

In place of lavish gifts, they were given packed rice to share with their families—a generous and loving gesture from the Assist-A-Student Program. These young people now embark on a brighter future, and we are honored to walk alongside them. We thank God for His abundant providence that make this gift possible. May it remind us of His overflowing love and inspire us to keep spreading hope, knowing that one act of kindness returns a hundredfold.
