Sister Mercedes is a living witness to the charism of St. Louise de Marillac and St. Vincent de Paul, carrying in her heart the spirit of the Company of the Daughters of Charity. In her quiet fidelity, she proclaims God’s love—not in words alone, but in the simplicity of daily living.

Like Saint Joseph, she serves with quiet fidelity, humility, and trust in God.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23)

Her life is a light that leads others to encounter Christ in those who are poor and forgotten.
